Egypt Minister of Industry & Foreign Trade said Egypt & Turkey are in agreement on provisions and regulations of a bilateral Free Trade Zone serving both countries interests. He added the agreement would be soon signed for referral to both countries Cabinets & Parliaments for Final rectification. The Minister was addressing a meeting of the Egyptian Turkish Businessmen Council under presence of the Turkish Minister of Industry & Trade & the Chairman of EBA – Egyptian Businessmen Association. Development would no doubt boost bilateral trade & investments between both countries. Agreement is of strategic nature & dimensions in the region. N.B. Worth indicating is that bilateral foreign trade volume between both countries is now limited to $ 726 million annually & that could increase if not multiply. Industries eyed are textile, hydrocarbons, food & pharmaceuticals, not to overview construction and electricity |
