Alexandria Port Authority has invited investors to enter a joint venture to involve with loading & offloading of general cargo and the construction of a new multipurpose cargo station at Alexandria. The venture would operate in the first stage on docks 62, 63 & 64 for six months, then it would start construction of the new station along the docks 54 to 61 of 216,000 M2 area serving 1,440 meters of docks. Interested investors are requested to submit their C.V. and past experience to the Port Authority Presidium, 105 El Horria Ave., Alexandria not later than 10/13/2005. Shortlisted applicants would be notified to get technical & financial conditions during the period 10/22 to 10/28/2005. Finalizing contracts would be completed during the first week of November 2005. |
