Investments of Royal Dutch Shell Group in Egypt petroleum sector now put at $ 3.2 billion. That was the title of half page + full reportage on the world reputed Group performance in the country published in the media. Shell daily output in Egypt includes 30,000 barrels of crude oil and condensates, also 500 million cubic feet of natural gas. The company embarks on huge ambitious plans for more investments in the next years but that is conditional on hitting new finds. Moreover Shell Group has involved since early 2001 with other activities related to natural gas distribution & supply to households and factories, also with vehicles fuelling & vehicles conversion to use natural gas. That took place via three joint ventures including Fayyoum Gas, Nat Gas & Shell Egypt Co. for Compressed Gas. |
