The Investment Committee of Al Ahly Club has determined the initial estimated costs of the Club new residence & sports stadium in Sixth of October City at about L.E. 1 billion, of which L.E. 400 million for the sports stadium. The later would have an initial capacity of 30,000 seats to be increased on later stages to 50,000 – 60,000 seats. A strong trend exists among the Committee members to resort to Chinese or South Korean expertise in executing the Stadium. |
