Euro 74.9 million German funding was recently concluded to back phase 4 of Al Zaafarana wind energy recovery farm extensions. Implementing agency is NREA - New & Renewal Energy Authority. Worth indicating is that Germany has earlier raised Euro 60.7 million loans and Euro 17.1 million grants for the same scheme. Egypt Ministry of Electricity & Energy targets to increase output from clean energy sources to 14 % of total energy generated by the year 2020. |
