With Egypt Air decades monopoly of internal flights (coupled with an obvious overpricing of air fares) soon ending, particularly after recent introduced directives to ease private sector involvement in that industry, observers believe huge chances exist for that sector to revamp that market. Six new applications are said to have been so far submitted for regular internal flight licenses accompanied with the requested guarantees.
