According to General Saad Shehata, Chairman of NAT – National Authority of Tunnels, the state owned Egyptian Contracting Co. – Mokhtar Ibrahim, was awarded L.E. 35 million contract for the relocation of underground public utilities intermingling with phase 1 of Cairo Metro third line. Contract covers the area extending between Abdo Pacha Station along El Abbassia & Ramses Extension Street until the so-called Light Overhauling Workshop, also in Abbassia. Work involves the relocation of potable water, sanitary drainage, electricity & telephones networks. Contract is for completion in 18 months. |
