According to Chairman & CEO of Telecom Egypt SAE, Eng. Akil Beshir, total installed telephone exchanges capacities increasing by the end of August 2005 to 12.5 million lines and they are projected to reach 14 million by June 2006. As to subscribers to stationary telephone lines, the executive indicated they increased to 10.2 million by the end of August 2005 & that they are projected to reach 11 million by June 2006. N.B.
