Germany has recently endorsed Euro 15 million grant for the construction of new schools in 4 Upper Egypt Governorates. They include Minya, Fayyoum, Assuit & Qena. According to General Hassan Hemeida, Governor of Minya, 85 % of the grant would cover construction costs with the remaining 15 % for relevant equipping & training. The grant is channeled through KfW - German Bank for Reconstruction. |
