Prince Andrew – Duke of York has announced UK companies would invest in Egypt further $ 7 billion till 2010 on top of $ 18 billion invested so far in the country. Statements came after the British Official has attended the inauguration of the Third International Forum on Investment & Trade in Egypt. He indicated UK companies intend to invest in most of the economic sectors. He stressed that the UK sees in Egypt a peacemaker in the area, a gate to Africa & the Middle East and a market attractive to investors. He noted that BG (British Gas) is responsible for the exploitation of 40 % of Egyptian natural gas resources. |
