According to Eng. Ahmed El Zoheiri, head of the Public Telephone Cabins Dept. at Telecom Egypt, six international companies led by Siemens of Germany & Huwawi of China are competing for a job to supply & install 10,000 public telephone cabins to operate under the Smart Network. N.B. Worth indicating is that Telecom Egypt has earlier postponed the deadline to put offers for the job to now become 1/24/2006 instead of 12/28/2005. Specs fees are L.E. 5,000 & bid bond requested is 2 % of offer value. |
